Former UFC tough guy, Kimo Leopoldo dies from a heart attack!
Famous former UFC Fighter, Kimo Leopoldo, dies at age 41 from a heart attack.
With a professional record of 10-7-1, the legendary fighter first stepped into the octagon in UFC 3. He has fights with mma legends Royce Gracie, Ken Shamrock, Tank Abbot and Dan Severn and is known as the only fighter to force Gracie to withdraw from a UFC tournament due to exhaustion.
Kimo has always been a dramatic figure. He and his entourage regularly gave a grand entrance at the UFC by him carrying a large wooden cross over his shoulder.
It is reported that Kimo also recently had some run-ins with the law. With past allegations of steroid use and a recent arrest for drug possession while wearing a stolen Long Beach Police Department uniform.
Kimo definitely had his demons, but should be remembered as one of the first UFC fighters that helped pave the way to where the UFC is today (that rhymed).
