With a very slow paced reputation of becoming a mainstream sport, MMA has certainly had it's set backs. From the Strikeforce brawl to Paul Daley's sucker punch....But sometimes, we've seen MMA fighters get into a little legal trouble.

- Rampage Jackson - leaving scene of accident, high speed chase
- Mayhem Miller - burglary and assault
- BJ Penn - for punching a cop
- Jeremy Jackson - forcable rape, assault, burglary
- Kimo Leopoldo - drugs (meth) charge
- David Tyner - murder
- Devin Cole - rape
- Eric Bradley - burglary
- Josh Neer - evading police, high speed chase
- Junie Brown - assault
- Hermes Franca - DUI
- Lee Murray - robbery
- Charles "Krazy Horse" Bennett - assault & false imprisonment
- Anthony Johnson - domestic abuse charges
- Din Thomas - hosting "illegal cage fights"
- Jeffrey Picket - although not at all an mma fighter, he entered a walmart in Ohio butt ass naked demanding someone to an mma match and said he "wanted to practice tap-outs". he was later arrested in the parking lot putting on his underwear.
- Renato "Babalu" Sobral - arrested in miami for spitting on a bouncer at a bar.
- Ryan Gracie - carjacking in Sao Paulo, Brazil
- Joe Son - rape
- Luke Cummo - driving while "impaired"...aka, he smoked weed
- Phil Baroni - threatening a police officer and misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct and resisting officers without violence
- Scott Blevins - molesting a minor
