Rener Gracie auditions for his own show on the Oprah Network!
Rener Gracie, the grandson of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu co-founder Helio Gracie, has submitted his audition tape to win his own reality television show on Oprah's new network. The goal of his show will to allow himself and his brothers Ryron and Ralek, as well as other members of the legendary Gracie family, to help victims of real life bullying that is happening in our schools. Unlike the hit MTV reality show "Bully Beatdown", where the bully's get a lesson in reality by sparring with a professional MMA fighter, Rener and his brothers will invite the victims out to the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Torrance, California, where they will teach them their family's art of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, which will help empower them with confidence, friendship, and the physical tools need to defend themselves along the way.
Click on the link below and vote for Rener Gracie. Spread the word to your friends and teammates to keep the votes coming until the voting period ends on 11:59 p.m. PST on July 3, 2010. The show will help publicize the great art of Jiu-Jitsu, while helping to enrich the lives of America's youth by stopping the bullying epidemic!
