"The Dragon" Lyoto Machida in UFC 104?

It is rumored that UFC Light Heavyweight World Champ, Lyoto "The Dragon" Machida will defend his title at UFC 104 at the Los Angeles Staple Center against Mauricio "Shogun" Rua. On October 24th, I'm anticipating an exciting war with Machida claiming victory within 2 rounds of the bout!

Machida is not the average UFC Champion. He's a traditionalist, turned MMA Fighter. His style and demeanor still reveals the traditional art he so proudly represents. He was introduced to Shotokan Karate at a very young age, by his father, Yoshizo Machida. He and his family operates a Karate Dojo in Belem, Brazil. Nobody will argue that Lyoto Machida is a new breed of UFC Fighter. His challengers have to face an abnormal fighting style and all MMA Fans agree that no longer is the "hybrid" mma fighting style the norm.

"The Dragon" brings the old school traditions of honor, respect and courtesy of martial arts into the UFC and the MMA world. Coming from traditional martial arts myself, it's refreshing to see.

Lyoto Machida's Professional Record: 15-0-0 (win-loss-draw)
