-LIDDELL: TITO SHOULD FIGHT ME IF HE RETURNS

We’ve known since the announcement that Chuck Liddell vs. Rich Franklin headlines UFC 115 in Vancouver on June 12 that the third bout between Liddell a Tito Ortiz was off, but we didn’t know Liddell’s side of the story.

The former UFC light heavyweight titleholder was opposed to a third bout with his rival and against doing “The Ultimate Fighter 11: Team Liddell vs. Team Ortiz.”

“I was completely against it,” Liddell told MMAWeekly.com. “I told Dana (White) I don’t mind doing it if you think it’s going to be good for us or a good way for me to come back after some time off, but it made no sense for me to fight him.

“And I never thought he planned on fighting me anyway,” added the 40-year-old athlete. “I didn‘t think he would end up fighting me. I thought it would be what it ended up being.”

Even after the decision was made for him to coach the eleventh season of the Spike TV reality show, Liddell had his reservations and thought Forrest Griffin would have been a more suitable opponent and coach.

“My final argument with Dana was at least make it the winner of Forrest and Tito,” said Liddell. “I would have much rather done it with Forrest.

“They felt they could push something with Tito and they thought there might be more TV magic or chemistry on the show because we don’t like each other.”

He saw the signs that the two rivals wouldn’t end up fighting early in the filming of the show.

“The first week he started saying, ‘I’m not going to fight Chuck unless I’m 100 percent.’ I actually made a phone call to Dana and said it sounds like he’s already back peddling about fighting me. Is he going to fight me?

“He said, ’Oh we’ve got a signed contract. Don’t worry about it.’ Then a week later I hear from some of his guys on his team that he’s going to have surgery. Before he fights me he’s got to have neck surgery of something. I was like you’re kidding me. He’s already talking that he’s too hurt to fight me,” explained Liddell.

“I called Dana again and he assured me, no, it’s set. The fight is going to happen. Don’t worry about it.”

Liddell feels Tito owes him a fight. He thinks if Tito comes back from his injuries that he should have to fight him.

“I think because of the way it went down and what he did, I think if he wants to come back he should have to fight me,” stated the former champion. “If he comes back Dana should make him fight me his first fight back.

“I’ve put in my time on the show. I had to deal with him for that long. I had to put up with him, so now I should actually get the reward and get to actually punch him in the face.”

Out to prove him wrong, Jenna Jameson, 36, took a drug test Tuesday and passed with flying colors, TMZ.com reports.

The test reportedly shows Jameson's negative results for ten major drugs, including cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamine and oxycodone, a primary ingredient in OxyContin.

"I am definitely not addicted to OxyContin or any drug," Jameson told TMZ after receiving the test results.

Soon after Tweeto Wortiz hit Twitter calling Coleman a "sissy"......

Mark Coleman, "Tito Ortiz, I do think he's a douche bag, and I do hope to get to fight him someday," Coleman said in an interview with MMAWeekly Radio. "He wants to call me a sissy, if he really thinks I'm a damn sissy, I'll tell you what, I'll be ready to fight him. I'll be ready to go when I'm 60 years old if he wants a piece of me. I'll be waiting if he wants to go."

Coleman will next compete against Couture, and Ortiz is slated to face old foe Chuck Liddell in June, but there's always a chance the two fighters could settle their score at some point in 2010.

Well well well......The Huntington Beach Douchebag wants to get knocked out for the 3rd time from long time MMA rival, The Iceman, Chuck Liddell!

Recently, he laid out this trash.....

“I think if I call him out enough times I think he’ll be a man and step up,” said WHOrtiz. “Why wouldn’t he? That’s a huge fight and a big payday for him. It will be good. I think we can see one more,” he added.

“Why not? I’m down. I’m always game. You know me, I’m not afraid to fight anyone, even though there was a picture that was painted a long time ago that wasn’t true. I’ve fought him twice already. I’m not afraid. He already proved he’s not my friend, so the hell with it. I’ve got nothing to lose. Lets make some money, and this time I’m going to kick his ass.”

So does Tweeto really think he's going to win? Or, is this yet another sad attempt to gain publicity and make a paycheck??

Bernard Hopkins calls MMA "Gay Porno"!

In an interview with Boxingscene.com, former champion boxer, Bernard "The Executioner" Hopkins stated, "I’m not wrestling a guy with panties on and his nuts in my face."

Having given MMA praise in the past, nobody is sure where this is coming from.

Here is the entire statement;
"Everybody is different but I don't want to watch two grown men wrestling with panties on. I'm from the hood, we don't play that. To me, I'm not buying a ticket to watch two grown men with panties on, sweating, with nuts in their face. That's not me. To compare that to boxing is ludicrous. After Chuck's loss to Shogun Mauricio Rua, media blew up the subject and controversy between The Pit Trainer, John Hackleman and UFC Prez Dana White. White was pretty difinitive in his answer that Chuck is indeed retired, but does he still feel the same???

Rumor is, Dana White isn't counting Chuck out now and isn't sure of his future. Chuck has never claimed his retirement, but has provided the timeline of a year that he may take off from fighting.

With the news of Tweeto Whortiz returning to the UFC and his recent trash talking about former Champion Chuck Liddell, would Dana and the UFC allow Chuck to return to face him?

Hmmmmm, one thing is for certain, fans would LOVE to see Tweety Tweeto get slapped in the face and get knocked out once again by Chuck Liddell.

Will Tweeto Whortiz return to the UFC????? Hope not....

News keeps circling around the infamous "bad boy" Tweeto Whortiz returning to the UFC.

We previously commented on the make up session conducted between UFC President Dana White and Tweeto's tweets on Twitter:(http://kekaimma.blogspot.com/2009/07/dana-white-tweeto-ortiz-make-up-over.html).

As they made their make up official on Twitter, Dana also stated on Twitter that it their reconcile did not mean Tweeto was to return to the octagon.

Dana White then mentioned on ESPN radio, falling short of confirming that Tweeto is officially back in the UFC fold.“Tito and I have been talking and we have been trying to see if we could figure things out,” said White. “I’ve said many times that Tito and I have some issues and we both need to grow up.”

Dana White later said in another interview, when asked if Tweeto was back in the UFC, "It's possible."

Geeeeeeeeeeeez.....this volatile rollercoaster between Dana White and Huntington Dumb Boy Tweeto Ortiz is getting ridiculous.

So what will it mean if Tweeto is back? Will he dilute the professionalism, sportsmanship and athleticism the UFC is now known for? Will other fighters contract herpes from him, most likely given to him by his porno gf - Jenna Jameson.
